Konami movers are thieves strait up

Konami charged me $6,700 and then stole my whole 2 bedroom apartment. Don’t ever sign a contract that says the movers have 30 days to move your stuff. I’m so upset with myself . Any reviews that are positive for Konami were written by Leia . These guys are professional thieves. The hold your stuff hostage and extort you for more money. They tell you it will only be a few days. Sign this paper that says we have 30 days. Then they take your stuff and forget about you, while they try to find another company that already has a truck going to your area to add your stuff on to. That way they can keep more money. I paid a 1600 deposit to someone in Florida which didn’t even get added to the move. 2,500 to pick up my stuff. Then they tell me it’s another 2500 dollars when they deliver it. Then they keep your stuff . Don’t use these guys . If you already paid a deposit, let it go, or you will lose your stuff..

Long-distance move from California to Idaho

A one Star review is TOOOOOO MIGH!

I have meticulously read through all of the reviews and can say that I have had the exact same problem as all others. I DIDN'T read these BEFORE my move because MY mover..ARROW-MOVING (TRUCKING) company is who I actually hired..swore up , down and sideways that they were NOT brokering out my move. That my move would be on two 26', DEDICATED to my move, trucks. Joseph said I could write my name on tape across the doors and the same two trucks would show up at delivery. WRONG WRONG WRONG!! I didn't know my things had been transferred to an Executive semi until I called days later and found out my things were sitting in a warehouse in Vegas waiting for another household to load onto my semi brokered by Arrow to Executive. I ended up having THREE other homes on my truck. The damages were countless. They stole every one of my husbands crow bars, his refrigerator dolly, his flat four wheel dolly and countless tools. We were told by one of our actual movers that the warehouse in Vegas is a free for all for their employees to "shop" from your items. He said they are all on camera but nobody cares to watch. So all of you who have had similar problems..well all of you..the thing to do is to complain to DOT using their DOT number..2091682 fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-yo…. I was told this is the only place that will hit them in the heart. Also complain to Consumer Affairs. consumeraffairs.nv.gov/A… and of COURSE BBB!! We all need to rally to shut this dishonest, deceitful company down.

Now a lesson for you newbies: KNOW that the Salesperson is selling you a move. They will then contract your move to (Broker it) a company such as these liars. Executive. BE POSITIVE the company you hire is the company who shows up.how could I know Executive was this bad since I had NO IDEA I had hired them..because I didn't! So find out who is actually moving you! My salesperson, JOE M-------I probably doesn't exist. (Alias) He bad mouthed another company called Revolution Moving Systems after I talked with their sales rep, a girl who called herself SARAH. WOW, just wow..after going back and forth between Joseph and Sarah trying to decide which company to go with, Joseph was the "better talker" and won my business. This only happened because when I blocked Sarah from calling me, she called me from her daughters cell phone (JADE) and when I looked that number up on Facebook what do I find? Sarah and Desiree are one and the same!! Desiree is a person who had MANY bad reviews with Revolution Moving Systems so I am now thinking she has an alias! So, bottom line folks, the salespeople at the company you thought you hired talk a good game and simply SELL, pulling your heart stings and getting into your personal life. They RELATE to you, reeling you in. Talk about your family all while laughing at you behind your back. Promises never kept. When it is all over and you are ready to put a bullet in your brain, they conveniently disappear off the face of the earth. If any of you have dealt with a Joseph M, know him or know where I can find him..I would happily fly to Vegas to deal with him face to face. He related to me about my older mom who I was taking care of, my four dogs I rescued, all the stresses of life I was going through..took the whole thing personal while he LIED about everything. Top it off, he has over 20 phone numbers but now he can't be reached at any of them. Here are some..and you will find that all of the customer service people..Tiffany, Karen, Jessica, Kassie and Kayla (THE MANAGER) all sit in the same little office and not ONE of them knows who Joseph is??HE booked my move with them so how could they not!? They are all very good at what they do..LIE! . Here are loads of numbers to avoid!

So, I have done a lot of research and will NOT stop. This is scandulous and puts so many good people through so much heartache. PLEASE message me and jump on my bandwagon if you want to try to all get together and actually DO something. All the negative reviews .only encourage them to disappear and close down, then to reopen under another name doing the same thing. Read less

Long-distance move from California to Florida

A good Moving company.

Hi,
My name if Walter and I would like to reccomand the guys who've helped me with my move to the east coast, to be honest I had my concerns about them after reading some reviews here on this site but they explained to me that the reviews are'nt genuine and being posted by their competition. I took a chance and I have to say that I can't complain about my expirience with them.
They were good, on time price was good ($1,855), they took their time to pack but I think I would rather wait another hour than having my stuff get damaged along the way so that is fine by me.

I can't relate to these complaint below, I feel good about my choice to move with them and reccomand it to every person who reads this review.

Kathy, my representative was so nice and kind, I promised her I will return a favor and I'm happy to do so.

Long-distance move from Fremont, CA to Seattle, WA

Do Not Even Consider - no Matter What!

Our furniture was scheduled to be picked up on Dec. 24, but was picked up on Dec 28 - after numerous calls. The furniture was supposed to be delivered no later than January 5. Our furniture was finally delivered - most of it BROKEN and DAMAGED - late evening on January 15, 2018, however, none of it was reassembled and set up as Coastal Moving and Storage, (the company that hired Executive) promised it would all be in the binding agreement. The driver, Lorenzo, said he was "not contracted to set up, but only to deliver." He then demanded we sign and pay at least $250 extra. We had already been charged an extra $900+ after pickup or else they "would hold our furniture and we could rack up more fee." NUMEROUS THREATS. They finally adjusted the fee back down closer to the agreed price.

Numerous items are broken and damaged, and we have documented and taken pictures of everything.
This is all brand new furniture, just a few months old, and we have receipts.
We have filed a claim with the BBB, as well as directly with the company, both electronically, and by US mail.

Late pickups and deliveries - Extra charges - Broken & Damaged items - Numerous threats - Truly Scammers and Dishonest people!

Apparently they used to operate under West Coast Movers, then were shut down, but reopened under this name. We are not even sure they have a valid license to transport furniture at this point!

Just DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Long-distance move from Vernal, UT to Annapolis, MD

Move from Utah to Maryland.

Recovering from a hysterectomy was easier than dealing with these amateurs. They didn’t show up when they were supposed to, they took my furniture from Eastern Utah 500 miles west to Las Vegas where it sat for three weeks and then when my stuff finally did come, I’ve found three boxes of broken dishes. I’ve only unpacked six boxes. These people are liars and cheats. When you try to call customer service, they put you on hold for upwards of 10 minutes and then hang up on the call when you hit the 10 minute mark. They don’t return phone calls and tell you what they think you want to hear. Not the truth, but whatever gets you off the phone. And then to have my belongings treated like garbage is just the icing on the cake. You know the first scene in Ace Ventura when he’s “delivering” the package? That’s how my stuff got treated.
If you like being treated like garbage and like being lied to, by all means, go with these guys. They excel at really bad customer service.

Long-distance move from Antioch, CA to Baltimore, MD

This rating should start with a decimal point.

We contracted with "American Movers and Storage." The drivers showed up, 2 days late, in an Enterprise 26' rental truck, and the manifest papers said "Executive Moving and Storage"

I am beginning to set forth the full sorry story of the $17k mess they dealt us. See

http://bgladd.blogspot.com/2019/05/consumer-alert-and-warning-american.html

They finally arrived, 6 days late. Many of our belonging are broken or damaged.

They have had Moving Truck Stolen more than 5 times!

Warning!! I lost all my life possessions working this Executive Movers and Storage. The moving truck with the belongings of 3 families was stolen on Thanksgiving. I was told the day after and told I had to file my own police report!! I asked if it had happened before and the company said no. I later found out that it happened more than 5 times!! I am still waiting for my small settlement because I checked the box for weight versus items. If you checked items it would have cost thousands of dollars.

The company has been unresponsive with an absentee owner. High employee turnover especially after each incident. I was the one who told the Broker, Atlas Movers that my truck was stolen. When the truck was found, mostly empty, I was told by the detective not by Executive Movers and Storage. Horrible communications. Unprofessional customer service. They could not give me an inventory of the recovered items so I flew to Vegas, rented my own truck to drive my few recovered items home. Their place is a dump in a bad neighborhood. The security camera " was not working and the truck was out of sight" All my recovered boxes were smashed. I am still fighting them for my small claim. I am helping the detective working the investigate why over and over again entire moving trucks are stolen from their unprotected parking lot.

Regarding the moving process itself. Warning!
The Penske truck they used was unmarked, and had no GPS. They said they were picking up my goods at noon, and arrived at 8PM and held me hostage threatening to cancel the move if I would not pay the up charge. I didn't accept the increased changes, and I should have cancelled the move!! The movers were on there cell phones all night, doing what? One was asleep in the truck in the end. There was no time or energy and we argued over the bill and their labeling of things. eg. Large sofa for my small lounge. They repacked some of my real valuables for Free! All the people associated with the move are no longer working with the company. I feel violated and treated with no respect. My husband and I had to fly out to Vegas to drive home a few of the items recovered. When I opened a few of the smashed boxes, I saw they were retapped and other people things were in my box. Not all the stickers were on the boxes. I spent thousands of dollars flying, driving and renting a truck to recover my personal items that were not useful to the robbers. All my valuable life possessions are gone. I am trying to find all the other victims. Please don't become a victim. Ask your broker who your movers are and ask them if they have ever had all the goods stollen, truck and all!. Do your homework. Check on your home owners insurance. Mine kicked in some, but who ever expects to lose everything. Who ever expects to be treated the way I have been treated. Watch out if you use this company.

Long-distance move from West Hollywood, CA to Bellevue, WA

The Absolute Worst.

Lied about pick up date. Lied about delivery date. Took a month. Items badly handled in their Las Vegas warehouse. Damage to 55 inch TV. BIKE broken. Cement table top smashed in corners. Leather on bed ripped and dented from weight on it. Driver was incompetent had to get a more expensive u haul to deliver. They are liars and thugs only in Vegas should never be in
Business. And I only got them through a broker called MOVING PROS US. ASK if you being brokered before you sign up so you don’t get unprofessional lying thugs like executive moving out of Las Vegas. My cost ended up doubled to repair or replace their mess.

Long-distance move from Folsom, CA to Crossville, TN

Lost a lot of my cherished, one-of-a-kind items, put me in danger.

First I apologize this is so long, this has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I am absolutely sick over the loss of so many of my items - my recently deceased mother's hand painted art, her mementos, my deceased father's items, an entire cedar chest full of them, all lost. They lost big furniture and many boxed items full of irreplaceable items. I am devastated. They do not return my calls, do not reply to my emails. When I do talk with them they say they are too busy to try to find out where all my stuff is. They say they will talk to the driver, and 'may' contact customers before and after my drop to see if they have any of my stuff. One of the truck driver's drops called me from Louisiana, because they received a box of some of my important and confidential papers - they found my phone number and called me. They since found a couple other boxes of my stuff, but I am missing so many things. How does this happen, you ask? Well I did to. I was not told by the broker Moving Pros US that my stuff would be picked up in a large 26' truck then taken to a warehouse, unloaded and put on a semi for transportation. My stuff was moved at least 4 times. The guy I talked with who had received some of my stuff said his was transferred more times than that. Well, that also explains why so much of my stuff was damaged and broken. One of the other inexcusable things the truck driver did was to hire two guys off Craigslist to pose as movers to unload the truck. Well these Craigslist movers were both injured (one recovering from a broken arm, one had a hernia, one was just released from a 15-year prison sentence in Texas! Plus they hardly did anything. The truck driver left without me getting the opportunity to verify I had everything and he left me with a full U-Haul and the two ex-felon druggies. I am an elder woman living here alone and they came into my house and unloaded things before I realized it. I had to pay them an additional $200 per the trucker, but let them go as soon as I found out. One of them is still harassing me with phone calls. I had to hire other, more professional movers to move me out of the U-Haul and into the house, and reassemble my furniture. This was an absolute nightmare, and still is. I paid more than 3x what I was quoted by the boker, and now I don't have my stuff, missing 1 out of 4 dining chairs, nightstand, chest of drawers - all with stuff inside! I am sick, absolutely sick! I do not recommend either of these terrible, terrible companies. They take your money, ask for more, then won't respond when you have a problem. I don't know if I will ever get my stuff back and am just devastated. I regret with all my being for ever hiring either of these companies for my move and if I can save at least one other person or family by letting them know to steer far away from them then that will help me sleep at night.

Long-distance move from California to Kansas

Worst Moving Company EVER.

This company is a joke, lets start with that. How did they get a full-star rating is beyond me! We moved from California to Kansas just a couple of months ago and the stress that we went through to just move our stuff across the country, cannot be explained. These "movers" showed up 3 days late and the evening before our flight to Kansas though they were scheduled to arrive almost a 1 1/2 week before. When they came, they bought the tiniest truck imaginable to move our three bedroom apartment despite knowing we have a lot of stuff. They then said they obviously cannot fit everything in their truck (duh!) so they will take half today and half on Friday (when I have left for Kansas already) There wasn't much I could do and had to get my stuff out of my apartment..at least as much as I could. I left for Kansas the next day and my friend had to come in and get the rest of the stuff moved out. Now here comes the money drama: they had originally asked me for $2,888. The guy had calculated it for me and showed me the price that would be for the ENTIRE move. I had agreed. Once I left Kansas, the dudes that came to pick the rest of my stuff on Friday come and tell me, it will be an additional $2,000 as they need to open a new contract because it will be counted as a "new" move. After arguing with them for over 4 hours, I managed to convince them to load up the stuff and bring it to me and then we'll talk. They agreed. Upon arrival in Kansas, my server, my dining table, two office tables, two headboards, one night table were all damaged. One office table was completely destroyed, and one table's entire side was chipped off. And a carton was missing. Once they unloaded the stuff, I went to check how much space in the truck my stuff really took and it wasn't more than 1000 cu. ft, but they charged me for 1,400 cu ft.! I payed an extra $2,000-something to movers who damaged and stole more than half of my stuff! How are they a business is beyond me!
